FINDING OUT:
I found out the day before Valentines Day that I was in fact pregnant but I waited one long day before telling D.

Heres a recap of how it went;
I woke up bright & early ... actually I never really fell asleep that night ... so I got out of bed & made my sweet valentine, breakfast in bed. Along with breakfast in bed I gave him a sweet & sappy valentines day card ... and in addition to that sweet & sappy card I gave him another card. The second card that he opened was a "Happy Valentines Day Daddy" card which he initially assumed was from little miss Lina. I taped not just one, but two, positive pregnancy tests in the card. Yes - its true; I served him pee sticks with breakfast but don't worry they were dry. ;) He stood up SHOCKED and still wiping the sleep from his eyes. "are you?? you are! Oh my GOD! really??" He was over the moon and of course that made me cry - what a sap. He ate breakfast in disbelief and proceeded to tell me that, for future reference, he would NEVER be able to top this V-day gift. I, of course assured him that there was no harm in trying.
Upon telling D, I then woke Lina up with a V-day t-shirt and card. She seemed unimpressed yet thankful before I told her, "I have one more surprise". "A new puppy???" she screamed. I shook my head no and to that she said, "A new guitar??!". "No, Silly! Do you still want to be a big sister??" I replied. To this she started screaming & smiling. She wanted to tell grandma and grandpa and uncle and her teacher and anyone else she could think of.
Needless to say I think the news was received well by the M Clan.
BELLY PICS:
I will include pics to document my growth - weird, silly, whatever - I'm doing it. So here is the first shot taken at 4 weeks - I guess its more of a PRE-pregnancy shot.
SYMPTOMS:
I went through about 2 weeks of feeling queasy day and night but that passed. I get
tired at the most inconvenient times but for the most part I feel completely normal ... in fact, most days I don't 'feel' pregnant - if that makes any sense.
DR. APPOINTMENTS:
So far Ive been twice - they did an ultrasound and confirmed that we are having ONE baby. We got to see its heart beating - although it still looks like a black dot on the screen - now its a black blinking dot. I go back on April 3rd - hopefully they will do another ultrasound. D asked the doctor repeatedly when we
could find out the sex of the baby - he's very anxious to know. She told us not until 20 weeks ... we can't wait.
