On certain sites the fonts dont view correctly and are therefore completely illegible.
Since Im not the slightest bit tech savvy or even close - I havent been able to fix it. Ive tried several things that might have just created more problems.
Im really hoping someone will randomly know how to fix this. This is what it looks like ...
(and it happens on Craigslist, Wikipedia & other random pages.)

I'm far from being an expert, but check the encoding setting on your browser (in firefox: View > Character Encoding) and make sure its set to "Unicode (UTF-8)"
thanks for the suggestion! ... tried it and it was in fact set to UTF-8 already ... :(
