Hi, just happened upon your blog and wanted to share with you what I have. i bought the phil & ted stroller. a bit pricey, but totally worth it. i love how it can fit through anywhere and i can go jogging with it. i recommend that stroller to everyone! my youngest is in a portable crib and my oldest still in his crib. I like the portable crib because they can be in it for a long time, rather than a bassinet or moses basket where they will outgrow it in a couple months. my oldest sits in a chir thats hooked to our regular chairs and the baby has the highchair. so much more room and the oldest feels super cool to get to sit with us at the table! he's been sitting at the table since he was 1 1/2.
Thats what I do and it works. I hope this helps out a bit...
The white noise machine is a must in our house (and anywhere else we may go). Our little guy is two years old and we still use it for every nap, and every night.
Since I'm just a mama of one, that's the only thing on the list that really stood out to me... although I regret not having had a sling when he was an infant so if you do end up with one, be sure to report back here on which one so we can know in the future. :)
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for all the wonderful input!!
Jennifer - I totally have a pack in play that I could use! and one of those portable seats that can be strapped to a chair! hmmmm GREAT ideas.
Gotta look into the Phil&Ted for sure!
and Amanda - youre right! another white noise machine is a MUST have. How did it end up on the 'unnecessary' list?? ;)
Thanks Ladies!
I had a miracle wrap with macy, she didn't like it.
I want a double stroller too. But haven't started researching them.
I also want a nicer monitor.
I loved my moby so much I'm sticking with it, I'm so excited to use it again with a newborn all tucked inside.
I don't think I'm getting another highchair. I have a booster seat for the kitchen table chairs and it works nice and takes up less room.
Good luck, happy your blogging again!
