My 2nd Pregnancy Purchase

After stumbling upon a blog called "The Shape of a Mother" (theshapeofamother.com) and stuffing a Milky Way in my mouth - I made my 2nd preg. related purchase; Complete Pregnancy Fitness workout DVD.

Ha! Now I just have to pop it in everyday and actually DO the workout - not so hard right??? ;)

Children come into our lives and completely transform our world - do they have to transform our bodies too???

Vote on our names!

We're still throwing names around - and would like you to cast your vote.  Don't discredit a name because of a middle name - if you like the FIRST name then give it a thumbs up - we can change the middle name ... !   :D

Recap of April 3rd appt

Im still trying to cetch up ... so bear with me. On the 3rd I went to my 12 week checkup - i filled out a TON of paperwork, got weighed :P and the OB did another ultrasound.

This time it looked more like a baby and a VERY active one at that! It was bouncing around in my uterus and even doing flips. My OB laughed & said I must have eaten something very sugary - however I hadnt eaten anything in the past 3 hours!

D proceeded to ask the OB when we could find out the sex of the baby and she assured him for the 7th time that we would try to find out at week 20.  ;) All looked good and the baby is measuring right on track for the Oct 25th due date.

My 1st Investment for Baby

OK - actually its an investment for Mom & Dad :) Its called 'The Original Slumber Bear' - I'm hoping and praying that its the best $30 I've ever spent ... but then again, I know that would be just too good to be true.

Heres the details;

The ONLY actual intra-uterine, recorded womb sound lulls Baby to sleep in minutes!
Invented by a doctor, and effectively used in hospital nurseries for over 25 years! The Original Slumber Bear contains the ONLY actual intra-uterine, recorded womb sound to help lull your Baby to sleep in minutes! Sound and motion sensors re-activate recording when Baby cries or jostles bear. Additional hook and loop straps allow you to secure the removable audio box to crib rails, strollers and more!

New Belly Shots

My waist has expanded by a good 3.5 inches :) Check it out :

yeah - i know they don't look that much different but soon enough ....

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

How is it that I dont remember the morning sickness, the bloating, the cramps, and allll the other annoying symptoms of pregnancy from my first pregnancy??? Is this some evil trick our bodies play on us to ensure that we continue to procreate??? Isn't it 'oh so convenient' that I forgot all about it while I remember so clearly seeing Kalinas beautiful face as a brand new baby?

Either way im here and experiencing it all - the gas and the bloating is outright torture and just when i thought the fatigue had subsided I zonked out at 845pm last nite. But honestly, I shouldn't complain, it could be worse - it could ALWAYS be worse. :)

I mean afterall, my clothes are still fitting, believe it or not. My skin has cleared up completely. And my husband takes wonderful care of me. Yes - all in all, life is good.
