Just want to report ...
No progress - unless you consider a stretch mark progress.
In my 39th week of my final pregnancy I got a stretch mark.
Oh well - id still have to say the 9 mos of discomfort, boobs sagging down to my belly button, hemi's, uncontrollable weight gain, vaginal torture, excruciating pain of child birth AND the stretch mark are worth being called a Mother.
I sure know how to make procreating sound fun, dont I?

just figures.
7 days from when my Doc talked induction.
who knows how many days from when Dayton may choose to make an appearance.
and yet here I am feeling crappy with a feverish 20 mos old.
wahhhhh.
Its summertime ~ people aren't supposed to get sick in the summer.

Post-Partum Crotch Care 101
For those of you that are family & friends, I apologize.
Start taking notes ... now:
For those of you with babies in you that will soon need to come out, I heartily recommend purchasing the following items prior to the Big Event:
Crotch Care Kit
• Ice pack
• Frozen peas (very moldable and afterwards; a nutritious snack! Just kidding about the snack part.)
• Heating pad
• Aloe vera gel with Lidocaine (Best stuff ever)
• Cotton squares to apply above-mentioned magic gel (not balls, squares! They hold their form better. Unlike your crotch.)
• Dermoplast Pain Relieving spray (Also good. So squirty! So instantaneous!)
• Peri-bottle (the hospital will give you this as a parting gift)
• Witch hazel (um, what is witch hazel, anyway? Weird. Cool name, though)
• Waterproof donut-shaped pillow (for the bath; they have them at drugstores. Now you know: congratulations!)
• Medicated pre-moistened wipes (you can guess what these are for)
• Boppy (for your bum when sitting, not for the babe)
• The most gigantic maxi pads you can find. Maaaaxxxiiii Padzzzz
• Your pain meds.
There you have it, one more crotch-related post for the people.
Im off to build my own PostPartum kit ...

Important Reminder
2. Try live entertainment, such as a band at a local bar, instead of a movie.
7. Pick up a bucket of fried chicken and head for the drive-in.
8. Put on your sexiest stilettos; sip fancy cocktails at a hotel bar.
16. Take turns singing cheesy out-of-tune ballads at karaoke.oddcast.com or freekaraoke.com.
20. Too cold or wet for an outdoor picnic? Spread a blanket on the floor and have a carpet picnic.
27. Museums usually have one free night a week, so hit one then.
28. Find a happy hour with 10-cent wings and two-dollar draft beers.
30. Grab a basketball and hit the free courts at the park.
36. Find a bridge and walk across it; the view can't be beat.
38. Drive out to a country field, lie down and snuggle under the stars.
50. Don't you just drive each other up the wall sometimes? Prove it — at an indoor climbing gym.
