Feeling like a Hot-Frumpy-Mess

I swore I wouldnt let it happen, I promised myself I could keep up - but here I am with a messed up mop ~ long overdue for a trim, grays poking out, outfit is a mess, toes are unpainted and embarrassing, belly is starting to do the overhang thang from lack of fitness and self-discipline, brows have long began to stray, ... Its a hot mess.

I'M a hot mess.

Is it being a mom? Being lazy? Being a wife? Too busy? Lack of funds?? All of the ABOVE?

I need some quick & easy, stay-fab tips.

A day in the life of an (almost)11 month old...

Brooklyn took STEPS!

The has been 'free-standing' now for a couple weeks but today she attempted picking up her feet in an attempt to MOVE!!

We're in for it!

Kalina scored her 1st GOAL!!!!

It was a very exciting Saturday morning this past weekend when Kalina scored her first goal!! She has been playing soccer since she was little - .... little, little - with the same group of girls. We've watched them change and grow from babies into young girls.

When we asked her how it felt to score her first goal, she said. "It felt good." :) Meanwhile David was nearly in tears - He was so proud. The best part was when we were leaving and her teamates yelled out "Good Job Lina!" So sweet. It was a good weekend.

Unfortunately I didnt get any pics of it (BAD mom) - but I will bring my camera from now on.

My week is AWESOME - hows yours?

Monday morning - Ruined Ds halloween costume.

D accidently left his tools in my trunk & called me to make sure I left them in the garage before I headed to work. I sent K in to open the garage door, while not realizing Ds halloween costume was hanging on the rafters and would get eaten by the garage door.

Tuesday morning - Hard drive takes a crap on me.

Im swamped at work and notice my mac is running slow and wierd. Hard-drive dies. DEAD. Lots of work was not backed up so now I have lots of catching up to do.

Wednesday morning - Speeding Ticket

My day care provider lives in a speed trap. Ive known this and try to make sure I stay under 30mph. Theres a downhill slope where its easy to catch some speed ... I watch myself pass the motorcycle cop at a cool 35-40mph. Apparently its 25mph at that specific spot and apparently I was going 40. (although 50 yrds away its 35mph.) Sweet! - a ticket for 40 in a 25 will be a nice chunk of change.

Looks like im on a roll - wonder what Thursday has in store?

Oh - and today is exactly one week from the day we were supposed to close on the house we've been trying to get - Im about 95% sure we are NOT getting it. I want OFF. THIS. ROLLERCOASTER.
